The project INFRAIA-02-2020 RADNEXT (RADiation facility Network for the EXploration of effects for indusTry and research,) coordinated by CERN aims to create a network of unique irradiation facilities and an irradiation methodology to address emerging needs for the characterization and qualification of electronic or optoelectronic components and systems for space, automotive, medical, nuclear or dismantling applications. Another objective is to combine different irradiation and simulation techniques to ensure the radiation tolerance of systems, focusing on the assessment of related risks. The four RADMEP Universities (UJM, JYU, KUL and UM) as well as several RADMEP Associate Partners are members of the RADNEXT consortium comprising 31 academic, industrial and government laboratory partners and numerous supporters.
